Small Group Training at JAX

  • The 9-5 Reset: Strength & Mobility

The 9–5 Reset is a strength and movement class designed to rebuild the physical capacity lost through long hours of office based work. Prolonged sitting can lead to weak hips, poor core support, and persistent back or shoulder discomfort. This class focuses on restoring strength, control, and confidence in movement so your body can handle both the workday and an active life outside the office.

Sessions prioritize intelligent, progressive strength training with a focus on hips, core and spinal stability to support full body strength. Movements are coached with precision and purpose, building strength through controlled ranges rather than high intensity or rushed workouts. The goal is to develop a strong, resilient body that tolerates daily demands and long term training without breakdown.

Class sizes are capped at just 3 participants, allowing for highly individualized coaching, close attention to technique, and a level of support rarely found in group training.

  • Foundational Strength

Foundational Strength is a full body strength class designed to build the base level of strength and control that supports everything else you do, from daily life to sport and training.

Sessions prioritize intelligent, progressive strength training across the entire body, with an emphasis on movement quality, control, and appropriate loading. Exercises are coached with precision, allowing you to build strength confidently and safely, without high intensity conditioning or rushed workouts. The goal is to develop a resilient body that tolerates load, adapts over time, and supports long term health and performance.

Foundational Strength is about building the physical capacity that allows you to train consistently, move well, and apply your strength to work, sport and life for years to come. Class sizes are capped at 3 participants, allowing for highly individualized coaching, that leads to real progress.

  • JAX Ski Clinic

The Ski Clinic is a focused training program designed to prepare your body for long days on the mountain.

Built for busy professionals who work all week and ski on weekends. This clinic improves leg endurance, core stability, and joint control so you can ski longer, feel stronger, and stay injury free throughout the season.

Sessions combine targeted strength training, mobility work, and injury prevention strategies specific to the physical demands of skiing. Every class is coached, with progressions tailored to your experience and capacity.

This is not a bootcamp or a generic fitness class. The Ski Clinic blends rehabilitation principles with performance training to help protect knees, hips, and the lower back while building the stamina needed for you to ski from sunrise to sunset.

  • JAX Running Clinic

The Running Clinic is a structured training program designed to help runners train consistently, improve durability, and reduce injury risk.

Built for recreational runners and run club members, this clinic focuses on strength, mobility, and movement quality to support higher mileage, better mechanics, and long term joint health.

Sessions combine targeted strength training, mobility work, and injury prevention strategies specific to the repetitive demands of running. Every class is coached, with progressions tailored to your experience, volume, and current training load.

This is not a conditioning class and it is not a run workout. The Running Clinic blends rehabilitation principles with performance training to help protect knees, hips, ankles, and the lower back while supporting better running longevity.

Small Group Training FAQs

  • Each session is limited to just 3 or 4 participants, allowing our coaches to provide close guidance, form correction, and individualized support. You’ll benefit from the energy of training with others while still receiving attention that feels almost one-on-one.

  • Yes. Small group clients receive access to our coaching app, which includes guided home workouts on demand. This ensures your in-class training is complemented by structured support outside of the studio.

  • That’s exactly who we’re here for. Our coaches specialize in rehabilitation-informed training, meaning every exercise can be adapted to your ability. You’ll progress safely, with a clear plan for building strength and confidence.

  • No. These clinics are designed to support your body, not test your skill level. Whether you ski or run recreationally or more regularly, the focus is on building strength, mobility, and durability to help you perform better and stay injury free. All exercises are coached and can be scaled to match your experience, training volume, and current ability.

  • Small group training offers a cost-effective way to work with a coach while still receiving personalized instruction. For highly specific goals, injury rehabilitation, or detailed performance plans, private training may be more appropriate — though many clients use both for the best results.
